| Hazrat Noor Mohammed shah qadri is one of the great sufi saint of Qadri spiritual order, who came down to Hubli in Karnataka in south India in his last days . |

| His lineage reaches Hazrat Imam Jafar al sadiq (A.S) through Sayed yaqoob hussaini and Hazrat Muhajir illallah and hazrat Ali arizi (R.A) ,his family is known for its contribution and services the field of knowledge. |

| He spent most of his age in Iraq, Yemen, Iran and Arabian territories and he spent his childhood in Gujarat India, then he come down to Bijapur Karnataka of India, he then travelled down to Bankapur & stayed in Hubli. |

| Where he went, spreaded the light of true knowledge he authored many books, a part of from “Rushd o Hidayat” based on his sayings, part of his work has already been published and even work is going on to bring out teachings based on his philosophy. |

| His grandson Sayed Mohiyuddin shah Qadri work a book on his biography which contains his teachings, miracles, and incidents of his life which was arranged in order by Sayed Abdul Gani Qadri and published as "misbah n noor" Famously known as "jalwa e noori". |

| After his holy demise after 400 yrs, the governor of Bankapur of Adil Shahi rule offered to build his shrine according to their standard of architecture this offer was rejected by his son Hazrat Mohammed Noor Ahmed shah Qadri (R.A) and he built a beautiful shrine of wooden . |

| As the time passed Hubli was affected by natural clamities and draut. After the Adil shahi rule ended, Marathas dominated Hubli then British ruled and Muslim lacked behind in political affairs & education, till Tipu Sultan (R.A) visited the shrine, the spiritual convent was with its original fragrance after that slowly political & economical disturbances were on one side & the other was effected by natural clamities Draut, forgery of lands & houses, after all this children of hazrat Noor Ahmed Shah Qadri (R. A) offenly started travelling from Unkal (village)to Hubli .

| And they could not sustain control over shrine and slowly shrine got affected & before 200 yrs the shrine demolished Hubli become a city and the current chair person of shrine Hazrat Shah Shahid Qadri reconstructed graves with marble and built a beautiful shrine and expended the area of mosque. Today by the grace of almighty & blessings of his most beloved holy prophet (pbuh) it is the center of many believers and the shrine is shining and spreading the spiritual light amongst the people. |
